Hello! Last month, in June, I found out about an app that has forever changed my life in photography. I've always wanted to do photography, and I am pretty good at taking pictures on my phone. However, something was missing this entire time, and that was photo editing.

I've always wanted to use a film photography camera — one that uses physical film rolls to capture photos, and are then processed into a dark room to actually see the photo and potentially digitize them. In the end result, they give off a vintage and dreamy aesthetic to them which I've fallen in love with. However, I know very well that it's an expensive and tedious hobby. So I didn't know how to emulate them well when taking photos on my phone. This is when I found a mobile app called "Snapseed". It is a very powerful app that allows for photo editing, and it is completely free!

I installed it straight away, and edited some photos I previously took. I have been taking and editing every photo I take ever since for a month now. Here is my photo gallery below!

Overall, I love the aesthetic Snapseed gives to these photos. Before, they looked quite flat — but now, they have a vintage dreamy look to them which makes specifically places with grass and trees stand out more in the pictures.

These photos were taken around my local area in Hertfordshire, England.
