Where I've Been

chibii-san waves hello to the internet!
Hello everyone! I've been inactive for quite a while now, and I hate the fact that I keep going down recurrent phases of demotivation. It happens for me very often, but that doesn't mean I feel like giving up on the things I like to do - It just takes me some time to get back into things, especially when it does become hard work and heavily requires motivation and persistence.
But anyways, now that I'm back, I can actually talk about what I've been doing for the past 2 months. After I uploaded the photography blog post on July 28th, I was working quite hard on updating the features of this website - specifically the new Tags feature, the featured articles feature, and the statistics feature. It still needs working on, but I got most of it done to my satisfaction. I also updated the header to make the "Categories" box a dropdown list to other pages - Instead of having pages that were "Under Construction" like it was before.
I celebrated my 18th birthday (i'm getting old 0_0) in late August, and I went out to a park in Oxfordshire. A few days after my birthday, a very important moment happened to me and my family - We moved in to a new place! We didn't move in straight away however, it took like 2 and a half weeks (we've just fully settled in earlier this week). The reason why it was so important to me was mainly because I lived in the previous apartment for 10 whole years when I was a kid. It was the home I was very used to growing up in, and we made lots of memories there. But now it's time to reset and begin a fresh start to life.
I've been struggling with my mental health for over 3 years, and I think the old apartment played a role in it. As I began to grow taller, the apartment became smaller and tighter. Therefore, it was very easy for me to go in my room and lock myself away from the rest of the world, which wasn't good for my mental health. Now, I struggle with constant depression and anxiety - and I'm now working on conquering that by doing the things that I normally fear and avoid. It's went well so far, and I hope to get better. I'll soon be taking therapy aswell and I hope it all works out.
And now we are here - late September! Moving forward, I plan to create more machinima projects and actually get myself out there as a machinima animator and content creator. I'll be working on improving my animations and finding my style - I want to inspire others, but I need to inspire myself first. I also plan to make more website projects other than this one. I'm also starting University very soon! (literally in 2 days from now).
That's all for now!
Cya!
